Manage Your Passphrase

Your Kenan-Flagler account requires a "passphrase" that is a minimum of 17 characters.  We encourage you to use a phrase, like a saying or song lyric. You have the option to use all  lowercase letters, but you may use numbers, special characters and capital letters if you choose.  The password will expire one year after you set it.
To Reset your Expired Passphrase
  • Go to ims.business.unc.edu
  • Click on the Kenan-Flagler option
  • Enter your Kenan-Flagler ID under User ID
  • Click I Agree
  • Click on Change passphrase
  • You will be asked to enter your Old passphrase, then you can enter a new one twice, and click Continue
  • You should receive a message that your passphrase has been successfully changed
If you can't remember your password
  • Go to ims.business.unc.edu
  • Click on the Kenan-Flagler option
  • Enter your Kenan-Flagler ID under User ID
  • Click I Agree
  • Click Forgot Passphrase
  • If you are enrolled, you will be asked 2 security questions

Enrolling in Password station
  • Go to ims.business.unc.edu
  • Click on the Kenan-Flagler option
  • Enter your Kenan-Flagler ID under User ID
  • Click I Agree
  • Click Enrollment
  • Create 2 security questions.
